20 Reasons Your Elf Didn't Move Last Night #elfmadeeasy
We've all been there. Even with the Elf Made Easy Kit there has been, or likely will be, at least one night you're bound to forget to move your Elf on the Shelf from last night's pose. Never fear, we've got 20 new (and easy to jot down) reasons that your silly Elf forgot to move:
I was so tired I fell asleep (before my journey to the North Pole) waiting for you to go to sleep!
Santa put me here in time out for eating too many cookies.
It was so dark in here last night I couldn't see where I was going!
We (the parents) went to bed too late, and you (the child) woke up too early. I didn't have enough time to make it to the North Pole and back!
I thought you'd never check for me in the same place twice.
Darn, I guess my magical disappearing dust didn't work. You caught me
You were so excited to find me here yesterday, I thought I would go for round 2!
You were so good yesterday I didn't have anything to report back to Santa. Great job!
You were not so good yesterday, and I wanted to give you a second chance before I report back to Santa.
It's an Elf Holiday. Santa gave me the day off. Isn't he kind?
I was up late creating my report for Santa, and ended up falling asleep before flying to the North Pole.
________________ (dog/cat/pet name) kept moving all night and I was too afraid to go anywhere!
I sat in something sticky and couldn't get up! I've almost gotten myself unstuck and hope to move tonight. I bet Santa is wondering where I've been!
I'm just too tired from all this fun. Whew!
I was trying to sit still as a statue. Did it work?!
I was feeling ornery last night and decided I should probably stay put and out of trouble!
This is my favorite spot in the house. So cozy.
There was a blizzard at the North Pole last night which kept me from flying home safely.
I wasn't feeling well last night so I decided to stay here and get some extra rest.
My special scout radar was not working last night. It wasn't safe for me to navigate my own way home.
Happy Elfing!
